Nairobi County’s chief finance officer Jimmy Mutuku Kiamba (left) on Friday appeared before the anti-graft agency for questioning over financial dealings at City Hall.
He was the third officer to be questioned by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission after his deputy Steve Osiro and County Secretary and Head of Public Service Lillian Ndegwa appeared before the team on Thursday.
However, the session did not last for long after Mr Kiamba said he was not feeling well and needed to see a doctor.
The EACC investigators granted him permission to go to hospital.
On Friday, EACC spokesman Yasin Amaro said investigators were also perusing an alleged corruption dossier submitted by Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko.
Mr Sonko took the documents to the County Assembly early this week and demanded action against county chiefs including Governor Evans Kidero over what he termed as corrupt dealings at City Hall.
